Farmhouse - SAN DONNINO

San Donnino is an old farmhouse that has been totally restored to modern standards. It is located on the estate of Fattoria di Corsano, at the centre of a striking landscape among the clay hills of the region of Siena, of which the towers can be seen just a few miles away.

Historical research tells us that the building was a church from 1000 to 1550, and later lost its original function to be turned into a farm house eventually. It has been restored and subdivided into flats from 2 to 7 beds. The flats are spacious and preserve their original architectural character so typical of Tuscany, with beam ceiling, as well as bricks and floors made of Tuscan burnt clay.

It can be also be used to stage private and corporate events, e.g., gastronomy, weddings. If you wish to organize a wedding here, you should know the wonderful church "Pieve Romanica" is located opposite the Villa, at about 1 km, and the reception can be organized in the Villa's park. San Donnino is equiped with a large kitchen and dining room that can be used for groups and special functions. As such, from to A to Z, our estate offers everything you need for an unforgetable event, in a gorgeous setting.

We have five flats at San Donnino: LA LOGGIA, POZZO, CAMINO, RADI and CRETE.

IL POZZO and IL CAMINO are perfect for a large family as they can merge into one large apartment if necessary. Two new apartments LA CAPANNA and SANT'ANSANO have been created by rebuilding the old barn. They can also merge into one large apartment, if necessary, for a group of about 10 people.

On the site of San Donnino, a beautiful oval swimming pool is located (16m by 12m), with a fantastic view on the hills of Crete and Siena. Many guests call the whole setting a "corner of paradise."
